Mike has been playing drums for the past 22years he has been in numerous rock bands going back to the late 80's newwave was still new and hip back then.Weaned on Led Zepplin,Beatles,Police,Hendrix etc...Mike has studied with :Joe cautasis, Bob LaMonica ,Steve Hass but it wasn't until the Mike became aware of Funk,Jazz and World rhythms that his unique style mushroomed into his own.Currently swapping seats with 4 bands and recording his own Music for drummers he is always involved in some project or tour .Mike also studies and practices spirituality and places emphasis on the drumming spirit and the spirit behind all the activities on the drums and in our daily life .His teaching go beyond the typical "drum lesson "you will start thinking differently about drumming and music and placing music in perspective with your life. The lessons pinpoint weak spots in your playing and giving the proper exercises to build and develop your playing and sending you home with information to help build your practice routine and develop your live performance and continued growth.
